I remember when matinee seats were $2. Alas. Did you fix turkey &c.? Mom's turkey was really good this year.

No, no turkey this time around. Everyone wanted ham, so I braved the grocery store this morning and got a nice, butt-end ham, and cooked it up with some garlic, paprika, and Mongolian Fire Oil. Juicy and savory.

The side dishes include: oven-roasted yams, my special deviled eggs, corn, cheesy rice with broccoli (one of those Knorr packets), and biscuits. With eggnog and ice cream for dessert. But now I'm too full to eat dessert. ;)

I'm famous for my deviled eggs around here. My secret is Miracle Whip (not real mayo) and some garlic powder. Works every time.
